Memories of Me Game

My cousin Mindy and my friend Allison have this on their blogs and I loved the fun responses they got so I thought I'd give it a whirl. You know me, always ready for a great trip down memory lane.

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I've done this on others blogs and they are fun to read. Here's a funny memory of you. Others will have fun reading this! It was in 1st ward. In Young Womens. It seems like there was someone new in the ward because for some reason we were taking turns introducing ourselves and telling one interesting thing about us. When it go to you, you said, "My name is Alene and I like to put hydrogen peroxide in my belly button and watch it fizz". Everyone was laughing and I have never forgot that.

LOL! You're too funny.

I haven't known you very long, but I loved the time you and Leslie had a whole dance prepared for our Hooters party! You sexy mama!

Well, there are so many. Dressing up for the hippy dance and decorating the Kempton wagon, getting your poles stolen on our ski trip, braking down on the freeway in whitey, living in the trailor, working at MCFP, taking the burb to Gilbert after the concert was cancelled and someone tried to brake in and then the drunk following us home, Justing driving his motor home over to your house (I don't think you could come with us), Robin Hood Men in Tights (thank you Chris Thompson) concerts, and long talks about anything!

I remember meeting you at the lake too. I was excited to learn that you were Chad's cousin when we started dating. I will always remember you as very courageous for all that you have become.

Hey Alene this Deanne (Griffin) Miller. I saw your blog on Mindy's and wondered is that the Alene I know and it is. I didn't know you and chad were cousins. I just wanted to say hi and tell you might favorite memory with you is when you held my hand at the doctor's office when I was getting my blood taken. I have since gotten better about that since I have three kids now I have had to learn. You are such an awesome person. I've always thought you were GREAT!

Holy Crap so many to choose from! Rooming together at EFY and taking pictures with our "hotties", working out with Tony!, singing Popcorn Popping in our best Kitty voices every FHE, Working on our sweet dance moves!, roller blading with the Mellers making all of our neighbors question our sexuality!, the countless nights of Channing Tatum, being truly nostalgic my favorite memory will be when you were there for me after I got released from YW! You were my rock and I appreciate it more than words! You are awesome!!!

I only have 3 years of memories with you. Girls trips, movies and making fun of Jenn with her napkins, Rollerblading, shopping, doing home repairs, great girl conversations, watching Mel and vice versa with my kiddos, drives to globe. My favorite is watching you on the stand at the child custody hearing. You were so brave and stood up for yourself and were so self assured (finally). I get teary eyed just remembering it!
